Yes, the AREF Essential Grant Writing Skills Programme is open to applicants without a doctorate who have a clinical qualification and research relevant master’s degree both awarded in the last 6 years. Applicants need to have at least two but not more than seven years of active research experience. Clinically qualified applicants can include doctors, nurses or veterinarians. If you have any questions about your clinical background, please contact us at aref@aref-africa.org.uk and we will assess your eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
